Starmark Pet Fest

Saturday, September 20, 2014 was the furthest from being a ruff-day at the Starmark Animal Behavior Center in Hutto, Texas. With over 1,500 people and 100 dogs, both humans and canines were entertained from start to finish.

Starmark Animal Behavior Center, formerly known as Triple Crown Dog Academy, focuses on how to teach people to better communicate with their dogs. Starmark Pet Fest is an annual festival benefiting Austin Pets Alive, and with Keith Benson, President of Starmark Behavior Center, we created numerous family and dog friendly activities. A giant expo happening on campus featured action-packed demonstrations and freestyle “dancing” with dogs. From Yappy Hour with live music from the Kerley Girls, to the Dashin’ Dachshund Wennie Dog Dash, and canine carnival games, to food trucks, every tail was waggin’ in fun.
