South by Southwest is a selection of film, interactive, music and conferences that commence every March in Austin, Texas. For the first time, AOI Pro. Inc., spearheaded an event celebrating Japan with JAPAN DAY @SXSW2015. Promoting Japanese, film, music, technology, and furnishings were all part of the exclusive fragments derived from the culture, talents, services, and technology of Japan.
AOI Pro Inc. was my first international client. Together we were able to bring Japan to Austin by showing the beautifully, unique culture. Held at the Highland Lounge, we worked together with Rakuten.FM and DesignARC to create an all-day event consisting of speakers and performances by Tomi Fujiyama, Perfume, and Hugh Forrest (director of SXSW Interactive). Special thanks to emcee Adela Uchida from KEYE-TV.
